Newton School of Motoring was recommended to us by a work colleague, and we could not have been more satisfied with the professional service we received. Not only did Paul provide a comprehensive and carefully structured series of lessons for our son, culminating in a first attempt pass, but he also showed a great deal of understanding of our son's personality, which resulted in the trust and respect essential for any genuinely successful instructor/pupil relationship.
I had Paul as my instructor, and I have to say he was outstanding. I loved the way he taught and looked forward to every lesson. Would highly recommend to everyone, confident or not.

Paul is an amazing instructor, he put up with me for years with starting and stopping lessons (due to other commitments) and was always there when I was ready again. I passed today first time and he also helped my 2 sisters and brother pass too. Couldn't imagine doing lessons with anybody else, he's so relaxed and knows what he's doing and knows all the Chester routes like the back of his hand and you can actually have a laugh with him too. I honestly couldn’t of done it without him, so thanks again Paul.

I passed my driving test yesterday and can’t thank Paul enough! He has been patient and constantly making me laugh throughout my time learning to drive, I have thoroughly enjoyed all my lessons and he has got me to a place where I feel utterly confident to go out by myself which I think is just as important as passing the test. Would highly recommend and he has my brother next so good luck! :)
What a superstar!
I first learned to drive 10 years ago, but had a bad experience and left it. Paul turned me from a nervous driver into someone much more confident. He's patient, good humoured and doesn't rip into you for getting something wrong, he calmly explains how to get it right.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Paul to anyone, especially nervous or older drivers like myself. I wish I had found Paul all those years ago, and not wasted my time with a substandard instructor.

Very good. Helped me pass first time with only four minors. Explains each part of driving clear and thoroughly to give you the best understanding making driving easier. Even though he may be more then the competitors I would say it was well worth it, as passing first time saves you a lot more money!!! Would recommend to any driver whether being first time or in need of a recap.
Excellent driving instructor
Paul is such a fantastic driving instructor. I decided to learn in my early 40s due to my commute to work. Paul is patient, funny, has a tremendous skill of putting people at ease and a very proud modest family man. I was so anxious initially and after a few lessons, I looked forward to going out with him. Thanks Paul, I could not have passed without you.

Paul is an amazing driving instructor, he made me feel so comfortable behind the wheel and always gave me the confidence to challenge myself. Such a friendly and funny instructor, I always looked forward to his lessons and he always gave the best advice that I then took away from his lessons, if I was ever in doubt about anything to do with my driving I would never hesitate to ask as he was so helpful. Paul was always on time, never cancelled any lessons and always gave everything into them. I passed within 4 and a half months and would never go with anyone else, highly recommend Paul as a driving instructor. Thanks for all your help, I really appreciate it!!
Brilliant instructor
Paul is a great instructor, he always made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. He was always reliable, on time and never cancelled the lessons. He is very friendly and also very easy to talk to during the lessons. Due to his excellence tutoring I passed first time.

Would like to say a big thank you to Paul for helping me pass my test on Friday. Having used another driving school before, starting lessons with Paul, it's safe to say Paul is in a class of his own, and I would recommend learning to drive with Newton school of motoring over any other schools in the area. Paul's expert knowledge of the area and all the test routes helped me massively. Many thanks to Paul for all of the enjoyable lessons and good laughs.

I would highly recommend Paul, a fantastic instructor. I’ve done lessons before and failed a test but felt much more confident after lessons from Paul, very patient and clear instructions! If your looking for an instructor in Chester you will struggle to find anyone better!

Highly recommend!
I started my driving lessons with Paul and he was so friendly and made me feel comfortable from my first lesson. We had some really good lessons and some really bad ones too but he was always really calm and helpful even when when I tried to turn left on a round about. I would highly recommend him, he's a lovely guy and really knows what he's doing.

Paul is a great instructor, he knows Chester and all of the possible exam routes. My previous instructor used to make me feel very nervous and in turn I'd keep making mistakes. Paul made me feel calm and relaxed behind the wheel, which helped me a lot. He is very friendly and easy to talk to.
